Jerry Cotter

After accepting a position with the Woodburn Fire District, Board Chair Cotter and his family moved to Woodburn in 1991 so that he could assume his role as the Division Chief of Training. He remained in this position for 5 years. But Jerry was no stranger to the fire service, first starting as a Volunteer Captain and EMT for the Santa Clara Rural Fire District in Eugene, Oregon for 10 years. Jerry is a dedicated community volunteer, holding the position of President of the Woodburn Community Access Televsion Station for 31 years and serving on the Woodburn Fire Board for over 25 years. He recently retired from his "real" job where worked for the State of Oregon for over 25 years and retired as a Safety Officer. Jerry dedication and service to this community and the Fire District is invaluable.
