Our Board of Directors meet the third Wednesday of every month. All meetings are open to the public, and begin at 7:00 pm.

Notice of Budget Hearing

A public meeting of the Woodburn Rural Fire Protection District No. 6 will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2026 as approved by the Woodburn Rural Fire Protection District No. 6 Budget Committee. A summary of the budget has been published with Pamplin Media and can be located on this website under the budget tab. A copy of the approved budget may be inspected or obtained Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. It can also be found on this website under the budget tab. The approved budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year. 

Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission meets quarterly. The meeting location and time may vary depending on availablity. Notices of meetings are published in advance. The Commission oversees the process of hiring firefighters, approves hiring lists, and ensures that firefighters are treated equitably and fairly in disciplinary actions.
