Part-Time Administrative Assistant
The Woodburn Fire District is seeking qualified candidates to perform the duties of a part-time administrative assistant.
Salary: $27 to $30 per hour. Hourly wage is dependent upon qualifications and relevant experience.
Employee Benefits: No employee benefits are included with this part-time job beyond what is required by state employment law.
Hours & Work Schedule: 24 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Position may evolve into full-time as budget allows.
Department/Supervision: Administration/This position works directly under the supervision of the Finance Officer.
Job Description – Administrative Assistant – Part Time
The Woodburn Fire District is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-service-oriented Office Assistant to provide confidential administrative support to all divisions of the District. This part-time position serves as a primary point of contact for the public and assists District staff, leadership, and the Board of Directors with a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and provide exceptional customer service in a public agency environment.

Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED.
· Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
· Valid Oregon Driver License.
· Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Preferred Certifications
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, or accounts payable.
- Experience working in local government or a public service organization.
